Select the “Attendees” Icon from the Collaborate Panel to view the all of the participants in the session. Attendees have microphone and camera settings in the same location as your own (at the bottom of the screen).

The Session attendance report provides an overview of when participants joined and left sessions. It also gives you an idea of how long participants were present in the session on average.
What can the different roles do? Users can be moderators, presenters, participants, and captioners in the Ultra experience. Moderator: Moderators have full control over all content being shared. They can make any participant a presenter or a moderator.
Presenters can upload, share, edit, and stop sharing content. They can also see hand raise notifications and can lower hands. Participant: Participants can enable and disable notifications, such as when participants enter and leave a session or when someone has posted something to the chat.
You can leave the Participants panel open all the time. Chat with others and see everyone in the session at the same time. You can tell who is away, has their microphone on or is having network connection trouble. All while chatting and participating in the session.
There are two ways to do this: Open the Collaborate panel. Drag-and-drop the Attendees icon to the main stage. Open the Collaborate panel and select Attendees. Select More options at the top of the panel. Select Detach Panel. The main stage adjusts so you can still see everything on it.
Keep the Attendees panel open at all times. You can leave the Attendees panel open all the time. Chat with others and see everyone in the session at the same time. You can tell who is away, has their microphone on or is having network connection trouble. All while chatting and participating in the session.
If you do not see or hear hand raise notifications when attendees raise their hands, check your Notification Settings in My Settings. Audio notification: You'll hear an alert that sounds like "Duh da".
You can also supervise all private chats. If you want to supervise private chats or allow participants to only chat with moderators, you must select each option in Session Settings BEFORE the session starts. The Media space in Collaborate is where the content of the session is displayed. Content you share is automatically the main focus of your screen. The pic-ture-in-picture shows you who is speaking.
Collaborate tells you when others in the session can see your video. If you see your video with an eye, others see your video in the center of their screen. If you see an eye while content is shared, others see your video as their pic-ture-in-picture.
You must give the browser permission to use audio and video so that you are seen and heard when you participate in a session. You’ll be asked to do this when you first join a session or when you first go to share your audio or video.
You can use the telephony feature to communicate with other users. As a tele-phony user, you can use all Blackboard Collaborate features and communicate with all users in the session.
There is more than one way to call into a Collaborate session: Attendees can call into the session using their personal dial-in information. From in the Collaborate Ultra session: If you have joined a session on a browser and want to use your phone for audio, open the Session menu, and select Use your phone for audio.
There are two ways you can use Collaborate Ultra in a Blackboard course. You can use the Course Room, which is an open Collaborate session dedicated to your course. Learn more about the Collaborate Ultra Course Room. You can schedule sessions for a specific date: Go to the Control Panel of your Blackboard course.
First, open the video in the Chrome browser. Then, to share the video with attendees: Go to the Collaborate Ultra session, open the Collaborate panel , and select the Share Content icon . Select Share Application/Screen. Select the Chrome Tab option.
To begin sharing: Open the Collaborate panel and select Share Content. Select Add Files Here and browse your computer or drag a file into the box to upload it. Select Share Now when you're ready for students to see the file.
Desktop & Applications. You can also share an application or your desktop screen to show more details. When sharing applications, use the most up to date Chrome or Firefox browser. In Chrome, you will need to add the browser desktop sharing extension to share applications in Collaborate sessions.
