In general, a non-repeatable course can be repeated up to three times under the guidence of an academic advisor. Some programs have additional rules, such as in Mechanical Engineering, where students may retake an ME course after earning a C- or lower, but may not retake if a C or better was earned the first time.

Grade mode Passing is equivalent to at a minimum grade of C- had a letter grade been awarded. Students may elect to use the pass/not-pass option for no more than 20% of the 120 credit requirement for graduation and for no more than two courses per academic year (Fall-Summer).
The failing grade will NOT calculate in your GPA, but it will still show on your transcript. On your transcript, an "E" will show to the right of your failing grade to mark the course as "Excluded". On your transcript, an "I" will show to the right of the second time you took the class, marking it as "Included".
