The caller-ID number for calls generated by the Blackboard Connect service will display the phone number of the office generating the call. For example, a call generated by the Town Manager’s office would display (978) 929-6611, the Police Department, (978) 929-7711, and so on. Individuals receiving calls can now Opt-Out from getting future calls. At the end of every message, Opt-Out instructions will be heard. The recipient can press the appropriate number to Opt-Out the phone number on which they are receiving the call. Alternatively, they can dial (855) 502-7867 to Opt-Out.

If you hang up your phone without leaving the session, you are still connected to the session. Your phone is disconnected. If you are also in the session in your browser, you can still hear and speak over the internet.
