ORI 101 is a required one credit hour course at Gadsden State that provides first-semester students with the campus resources and academic skills necessary to achieve educational objectives. This course emphasizes personal responsibility through the exploration of GSCC regulations, campus facilities, and student services. ORI 101 is also designed to help students develop effective study skills, library skills, employability skills and career goals. ORI 101 is offered each semester, on each campus and online. A learning management system (LMS) is a software application for the administration and delivery of educational content in a virtual format. Colleges and universities use LMSs to deliver online courses and augment on-campus courses. Instructors also use LMSs supplement their lessons and instruction that is being delivered in an on-campus classroom.

Alternatively, click "Start" in Windows, select "Programs", select "Respondus", and then click "Respondus LockDown Browser".)#N#(For Macintosh users, launch "LockDown Browser" from the Applications folder.) 3 Upon starting, the browser will go to the login page for Blackboard.#N#(A warning message may appear indicating that one or more applications must first be exited, such as instant messaging application. The browser will offer to close the applications for the user. Alternatively, the browser can be exited and the blocked application can be closed manually before restarting the browser.) 4 Log into Blackboard by entering your User ID and Password. Select the appropriate course and then select the exam. 5 If your instructor requires a test password, a new window will appear asking for the Exam Password. Enter the password and click Begin Exam. 6 The test will then start.#N#(Note: once a test has been started using Respondus LockDown Browser, you cannot exit until the Submit button is clicked.
