You can also access your course grades through the Global Navigation Menu, which is located in the top right corner of your Blackboard interface next to your name. On the Grade Details page, you can view a student's attempts and grade history, assign and edit a grade, and clear and exempt grades.
Locate the Weighted Total column in the Grade Center. Click the Action Link (drop-down arrow) in the column heading, then select Edit Column Information from the menu. If you do not have a Weighted Total column, create one by clicking Create Calculated Column > Weighted Total.
If you set up a Weighted Total, then it does not matter how many total points there are possible in the course assignments; there could be 100 points total, or 450, or 2175 for all the assignments. The final grade will be calculated proportionately according to the weighting scheme.
