Settings you can change during a session If you want to change settings during a session, open the Collaborate panel, select My Settings, and open Session Settings.
To edit the course view for a specific course, edit the course settings. Go to Courses on the Admin Panel and search for the course you want to edit. In the list of results in the Course View column, you can see the view for each course. In the course's menu, select Edit, and then choose the course view.

Grading schemas convert raw numeric scores, such as 88 points out of 100, to specific grade displays, such as B+ or Pass. When students view their grades, they see the grade display that corresponds to their numeric score.
Content areas are containers in a course that users can access from the course menu. Adding a default content area creates a blank content area and a corresponding item in the course menu. It does not include content or course materials.
Icon themes are sets of icons that identify folders, documents, and other items within Blackboard Learn. Icons make it easy for users to navigate through Blackboard Learn and to identify important information quickly.
A course must be made available before students enrolled in the course can view or access the course and its content. However, you may want to make a course unavailable during the building process or after a scheduled course has finished.
Mark a course as complete. You can choose to set your course to Complete when the course has ended, but you can no longer make changes to it . Students can access the content, but they can't participate in the course any longer. For example, they can't reply to discussions or submit assignments.
Blackboard administrators, instructors, course builders, teaching assistants, and graders can see and access unavailable courses from the My Courses tab and the course list, but they're marked as unavailable. Students can't access unavailable courses regardless of the course duration.
