Yes! If your account was put on a financial hold due to an outstanding balance accumulated during the pandemic and you are eligible for the CUNY Comeback Program, your holds will be lifted and you can register for classes or request an official transcript.
The student can drop the course(s) online until the end of the third week of classes. There will be a transaction fee applied if a student adds or drops the course(s) once the semester begins; please refer to www.ccny.cuny.edu/bursar for fee information.

Past Due Accounts. Balances that remain unpaid through the late add period are considered “past due”. A negative Bursar service indicator (BUR) will be placed on your account. This will prevent students from registering for a future term, acquiring a transcript and receiving their diploma or other college documentation.
A BIH hold (In-house Collections) will be placed on your account. Collection deadlines are set approximately six months from the end of the term. Any remaining balance in pre-collections is at risk of being transferred to a collections agency by the collections deadline.
