New features allow for video in Blackboard to be analyzed and assessed. An instructor can get detailed information about which students have watched, how long they watched, and how many times.
As an instructor, you can see when your students opened, started, and submitted tests and assignments with the Student Activity report. In general, this feature looks and functions the same whether you're working in an Original or Ultra course.

It does not record how many times any file attachments to the item have been downloaded and opened. It will not tell you that a student has read the content of the item nor any attachments.
Go to the content item you wish to apply Statistics Tracking to. From the drop down menu select Statistics Tracking (On/Off). Select On and click Submit. You have now applied statistics tracking to the content item.Feb 6, 2019
If you are having trouble viewing videos from your Blackboard course, check the following: Missing player or plug-in on the system. Firefox browsers may require a plug-in for the Blackboard video player to work properly.
Enter a Name for the tool link and from the Type dropdown choose Blackboard Collaborate Ultra. Tick the Available to Users box and click Submit. The Tool Link to Collaborate Ultra will then be added to the bottom of the course menu. This is the link that you and your students can use to access the recordings.Mar 24, 2020
If you are having issues with your audio or video, please check your session and browser settings. Try the audio and video set up again. Use Tiled or Speaker view instead of Gallery view.
