Genesee Network for Education Telecommunications (GenNET)

A primary focus of this department is the coordination and operation of the Genesee Network for Education Telecommunications (GenNET), the infrastructure that supplies voice, video, and data transmission to 21 constituent K-12 public school districts in Genesee County. GenNET is the heart of technology in Genesee County public school districts.

The Genesee County Career Technical Education Early Middle College (GCCTEEMC) provides a unique opportunity for students to explore and earn an associate’s degree, credentials, or transferable credit in a CTE Career Pathway while in high school.

Board Composition

The Genesee Intermediate Board of Education is comprised of five individuals elected to serve six-year terms. The body that elects intermediate school district board members consists of one member delegate from the board of education in each of the 21 constituent school districts.
