What is the Garfield Re-2?

The mission of the Garfield Re-2 School District Preschool Program is to cultivate in young children the disposition to be a lifelong learner by providing a high quality, developmentally appropriate preschool experience in a safe, stimulating environment.

What is the preschool program in Colorado?

The Preschool Program provides a quality early educational experience for children ages three to five years. Children join the preschool program through a variety of avenues. Youngsters who are experiencing developmental delays may qualify for tuition support to attend the preschool and possibly receive therapeutic services over and above the typical preschool program. These young children have disabilities that may affect their physical, intellectual, communication, social, or emotional development. Because of certain risk factors that may affect healthy development, some children may qualify for tuition assistance from the Colorado Preschool Program. This funding is for four and five-year-olds who are eligible for kindergarten the following school year only. Finally, some families choose to pay tuition fees on their own to enable their child to share in this important educational experience.
