From student-led worship services to on-campus concerts, Gardner-Webb provides a variety of activities that broaden the collegiate experience and balance academics with vibrant student life opportunities. Here is a list of links you will find helpful throughout your time on campus:
The Blackboard 9 Student User Orientation is designed to familiarize the student with the basic skills needed to succeed in an online, hybrid, or web-enhanced course. Topics include a general overview of the Blackboard system, recommended computer and browser specifications, navigating through the online environment, submitting work for evaluation (i.e., tests, assignments), using discussion boards, viewing grades and progress, and communicating with one’s instructors and classmates. The orientation is a combination of documents and tutorials, and is self-paced. At the conclusion is a short test designed to assess one’s overall understanding of Blackboard. Your professor will determine how and if this quiz will be utilized in your course. Students who have previously completed the orientation may proceed directly to the test, if required.
