Students who are unable to continue attending class after the 10 percent date must submit a request to be withdrawn by using the “Student Course Withdrawal Form” found under the “Registration” section of the “Students Menu” tab on WebAdvisor.
The Blackboard system times out after 60 minutes of inactivity. You will then be required to log back in. When you are writing directly in a threaded discussion forum or an assignment submission text box the Blackboard system considers this inactivity and will end the session after 60 minutes. You can lose your items on the screen.
The easiest is to go FTCC’s website. Go to the bottom of any FTCC webpage; click the Blackboard link in the Resources list. Direct link is https://faytechcc.blackboard.com. If a student drops, changes or adds a course, Blackboard course enrollment is updated automatically the next time integration runs. Students dropping a course after the start date are disabled in the Blackboard course. The student’s id is grayed out in the course, but still visible to the instructor.
