How many hours does FSU take to get an engineering degree?

Major Program of Studies at FSU: (105 hours) The aggressive, strongly motivated student with proper high school preparation can complete an Engineering degree in 4 to 5 years, including a summer semester, by taking a course load of 16-18 hours each semester. Other students may require more time.

All students should take the math placement test (ALEKS) to determine proper placement. Mapping. Mapping is FSU’s academic advising and monitoring system. Academic progress is monitored each Fall and Spring semester to ensure that students are on course to earn their degree in a timely fashion.
