How to Access Blackboard You can access Blackboard (Bb) with your FIT username and password at http://fitnyc.open.suny.edu . As long as your department has assigned you as the instructor of your course in Banner, your course will appear in Blackboard. Look for your courses under “My Courses” after you log in. How hard is it to get into FIT and can I get accepted? The school has a 59% acceptance rate ranking it #52 in New York for lowest rate of acceptance. Last year, 2,568 out of 4,354 applicants were admitted making FIT a more competitive school to get into with a good chance of acceptance for qualifying applicants.
Transfer Application Requirements Minimum GPA: FIT generally consider applicants with a grade point average of 3.0 or better. Official Transcripts: Transfer students who have not yet earned their college degree must submit a high school transcript with proof of high school graduation.Aug 10, 2021
The average high school GPA for admitted students at FIT is 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. FIT does not appear to be very selective from a GPA standpoint.
An FIT General Education course cannot be used to meet more than one General Education area. Student Visas Students who wish to apply for an F-1 student visa or who hold F-1 student status must obtain an I-20 from FIT. To obtain an I-20, students must submit an International Student Financial Statement (ISFS) to FIT after being admitted to the college.
