The app's grading feature is available for assignments in Original courses only. At this time, your institution needs Blackboard Learn SaaS or Blackboard Learn 9.1 Q2 2018 CU4+. Grading is supported in the Blackboard Instructor app on both phones and tablets. The interface is slightly different between phones and tablets.

What is the difference between "dropping a course" and "withdrawing from a course"? Withdrawing from a course results in a grade of "W," and does not affect your GPA, while dropping a course is when you drop out of a class after a certain date and receive an F which will affect your GPA.
“A withdrawal will be on the transcripts but does not affect GPA.” Croskey also noted that there aren't any limits to how many classes one can drop because they don't go on the transcript. Withdrawals though are limited and can look bad if there are too many on a student's transcript.
The instructor has not yet published the course for student view (most common reason). The student has not yet successfully registered and paid for the course. There may be an issue with the student's enrollment. The student may have a hold on his/her record.
Log into Blackboard Learn and enter the course. In the Course Management menu under Customization, click Properties. Under Set Availability, check the radio button next to "Yes" for Make Course Available. Click the Submit button.
