In Blackboard Learn, course members can have the thoughtful discussions that take place in the traditional classroom, but with the advantages of asynchronous communication. Participants don't need to be in the same location or time zone, and you can take the time to consider your responses carefully.
Use the arrow keys to select an option, such as a numbered list. Select Save. On the main Discussions page, your discussion title appears with the label Created by student. When course members open your discussion, you're listed as the author in the side panel.
You can find grades for your discussion contributions in multiple places: On the discussion page, your grade appears under Grade. On your Course Grades page, locate the row for the discussion and refer to the Grade column. In the list where your name appears, view your grades on your global Grades page. New grades also appear in your activity stream.
Blackboard has many features which allow students to study, submit homework, communicate with professors and classmates. You can access discussion analytics from the Discussions or Course Content pages. Open the menu next to a discussion and select View Analytics. View information about the discussion: Active students.

Open a thread in a forum. On the thread's page, point to a post to view the available functions. Select Edit or Delete. The delete action is irreversible.
To access your drafts, return to the forum page and set it to List View. Access the Display menu and select Drafts Only to view the saved post. Select the draft's title to open the Thread page. While you view your post, point to it to view Edit and Delete.

Delete discussion topics, responses, and replies Students can delete only their own discussions, responses, and replies. Students can't edit their discussion titles after they create discussions. Open the menu for a response or reply to access the Edit and Delete functions.
Clear Flag will delete set flags on selected messages.
