Blackboard maximum course size is 2.45 GB. While it is possible to upload .mp4, .mov, and narrated .ppt files into Blackboard (Bb), these file types tend to be very large, which quickly uses up the finite amount of available Bb course data and can cause time lags and download issues for students.
To upload larger files, you can upload the files using the command line or you can increase the default size limit. To learn about uploading files using the command line, see Course Files Command Line Tools. To increase the default size limit, change the bbconfig. fileupload.
100 megabytesYou can upload individual files as large as 100 megabytes to Blackboard and there is no limit to the number of individual files that you can upload. For files larger than 100 megabytes — particularly if those files are large videos — contact your school's local IT support staff.

20mbTurnitin has a file upload limit of 20mb, if you try to submit a file over this limit, Turnitin will not accept the file. If your file size is bigger than 20mb you will need to save it as a PDF (if it is not one already) and then compress it.
