University Extension is the continuing education branch of UC campuses, pproviding innovative learning programs to adult learners in California, across the U.S. and throughout the world. University re-entry allows non-graduated UC students to resume a path to a four-year degree.

The building RCLAS means remote class. If a class has the building name RCLAS, it is either a fully remote or hybrid class. A room number assigned to RCLAS is a system requirement to ensure double bookings do not occur.
The Concurrent Enrollment Program, offered by UC San Diego Extension, lets you take courses without formal admission to UC San Diego. This is a great way to explore fields of study while earning transferable units. Both undergraduate and graduate courses are offered.Nov 10, 2021
Quarterly Course Catalog UC San Diego Extension offers the most-up-to-date education and training programs in a wide variety of topics from data analytics to clinical trials to digital marketing—and more. This publication lists all the courses and programs UC San Diego Extension has to offer in the quarter.
Departments may require that courses applied toward the major be taken on a letter-grade basis. Selection of this option must take place within the first four weeks of the course. A grade of Pass shall be awarded only for work that otherwise would receive a grade of C– or better.
