How do I allow students to use TurningPoint Mobile in a polling session? Click Enable under Mobile Responses and then click Start Session to begin. Once connected, a Session ID will be displayed. All students using TurningPoint are required to create a Turning Account, purchase a subscription, and connect their Turning Account with Blackboard in order to participate in classroom polling.
TurningPoint is Buffalo State’s chosen student response system. Commonly referred to as “clickers”, TurningPoint allows you to respond to questions your instructor poses in class.
You are able to purchase your subscription from the Turning Technologies Student Store or from Buffalo State Bookstore.
If using a mobile device (phone, tablet, laptop), your device is automatically registered when you purchase your subscription. Students using their mobiles devices do not need to take any further action to register their device.
In order for your instructor to see that you are responding in class, you will need to connect your Turning Account with your Blackboard account.
