Sign into the Gateway (Student Portal) and then click on the My Account icon. You will be greeted with your name and Student ID number.
1) To do this, sign into the EGCC Student Portal and click on the My Account button. 2) Once the My Account area loads, click on the Courses tab. 3) There will be a list of 'Scheduled' courses that you can remove by clicking the red minus button as shown in the image below.
Students in traditional face-to-face courses and online/hybrid courses will be academically dropped from a course for never attending the first two weeks of a regular 16-week semester course, first two weeks of an 8-week session, or first week of a 5-week session if they have not made prior arrangements with faculty.
Students must follow the withdrawal policy found in the school catalog. Students who have decided not to attend EMCC - Students should contact the Registrar's Office before classes begin, so that your courses can be removed from the computer system and there will be no bill associated with those classes.
Accreditation. Eastern Gateway Community College is accredited – on probation by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The probation status began on November 4, 2021 and will be revisited by the HLC in 2023.
