Blackboard Learn Ultra Welcoming Learn Ultra as our new Virtual Learning Environment At the start of the 2021/22 academic year, we will be moving to a new platform for teaching and learning: Learn Ultra. This Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) will replace the teaching and learning parts of the existing Blackboard Learn system, better known as duo.
We are working towards launching Blackboard Learn Ultra as our VLE across the University from September 2021. This will mean all programmes will start to use Ultra for teaching and learning purposes from the autumn term. However, Duo will remain available as a read-only platform for both staff and students.
