Instructors can use Blackboard’s Grade Center to automatically drop the lowest grade or grades from a category of graded assignments. On the Control Panel, expand the Grade Center section. Select Full Grade Center. In the Grade Center, select the Manage button, and then choose Categories from the menu that appears.

Name your column, select how you would like the grade to be displayed, and click Selected Columns and Categories. Click on your new category and then click on the arrow to move it to the right.
