The acceptance rate at URI is 72.3%. For every 100 applicants, 72 are admitted. This means the school is lightly selective. The school will have their expected requirements for GPA and SAT/ACT scores. If you meet their requirements, you're almost certain to get an offer of admission.
URI is a dry campus, so most partying takes place off campus, usually at someone's house or at nearby bars. Many beaches are also minutes away, but unfortunately they can only be used in September and late April/early May, due to cold winters.

To build an integration with the Blackboard REST Web Services, regardless of the programming language of choice, can really be summed up in two steps:
The REST Services rely on OAuth 2.0 Bearer Tokens for authentication. A request is made to the token endpoint with a Basic Authorization header containing the base64-encoded key:secret string as its key. The token service returns a JSON object containing the Access Token, the Token Type, and the number of seconds until the token expires.
To work with 3LO you will need both a browser, to log into Learn and retrieve a code, and a terminal window for your cURL commands. Note: In step 1 the client_id is NOT the Application ID. It IS the Application Key.
The individual service calls are handled in succession here. We’ll use copy and paste to create the JSON object in the form of a string, use cURL for generating the appropriate HTTP Request, and shipping it to Learn. We’ll see the JSON response come back to stdout on the console.

What is Blackboard? Blackboard is a course management system used by USI faculty and students. Many of your courses will require you to use Blackboard.
Blackboard needs Java to run and the Android, iOS, and Windows RT platforms do not support Java. There may also be additional problems with internet availability and/or cell phone signals. For these reasons we do not recommend using tablets, cell phones, and similar devices with Blackboard.
When an instructor at your institution requests to integrate a Cengage platform into your campus LMS, they'll work with their Cengage Account Executive or Learning Consultant who will submit a request to deploy the course content to your institution.
Once this request is submitted, you’ll receive an email containing the configuration parameters for your institution. This includes the School ID, Key and Secret.
From the email, follow the steps in the administrator guide to configure and test the Cengage App. Don’t forget, we use a configuration URL. To test the installation, you will need to sign in with an instructor account.
Once testing has been completed, Cengage will be notified and will deliver the course content to instructors who have adopted our solutions. Instructors will receive an email letting them know the content fulfillment is complete. It will also provide them with a Quick Guide for getting started with the course content in your LMS.

Help instructors place a link to the Cengage Unlimited Student Dashboard into their course. This maintains a seamless experience for students who subscribe to Cengage Unlimited and ensures they have full access to all the Cengage resources available through their subscription from within Blackboard Learn.
