Aug 31, 2020 · With the Blackboard Collaborate Ultra, guests will be able to join the room - if you allow them to do so. Go to Other Bb Tools → Blackboard Collaborate Ultra. You can also go to the Control Panel -> Course Tools → Blackboard Collaborate Ultra. The Collab dashboard for your course will display. You can either use the Course Room or create a session.
1. To enter your Course Room, click on the Blackboard Collaborate Ultra link in your course or click on Tools in the left menu. 2. Your Course Room will appear near the top. Click on it. 3. On the Navigation bar on the left side of the screen, click on the Collaborate Ultra tab. When your Sessions window opens, choose the session you want to use and click on the Session Options button to the far right of the name of the session name.
Try clearing your browser cache, and reloading the session. Restart your computer. Try using Firefox instead of Chrome. Try dialling into the session using your phone.
Go to Collaborate in your course. Select the session name and select the join option. If offered by your institution, you can use the phone number to join the session anonymously. To learn more, see Join sessions from your phone.
Internet History and Cache Sometimes, this stored data can create problems for Blackboard users trying to login to the system. If you are experiencing “Session Already Running” errors or are unable to view certain web content, try clearing your Internet history and/or cache.
Settings you can change during a session If you want to change settings during a session, open the Collaborate panel, select My Settings, and open Session Settings.
You can find Blackboard Collaborate under your course Details & Actions. Next to Blackboard Collaborate, open the More options for Collaborate menu. From this menu you can get the course room guest link, edit the course room settings, view the course room attendance report, and disable the course room.
