What is blackboard and how do I access it?

Using Blackboard Using Blackboard No matter which course type you choose, you will use Blackboard to access the syllabus and view your grades. You may also use it to access other course materials, submit assignments, take assessments, and communicate with your instructor and classmates.

How do I access my classes on mydmacc blackboard?

Blackboard is DMACC's learning management system (LMS) and is used for all course delivery methods: face-to-face, online, web blended, and virtual. To access Blackboard and your courses, follow the steps below or the Access Your Class Guide (PDF) . Click on the myDMACC button at the top of the DMACC website.

Do online instructors need to be certified to use Blackboard LMS?

Dec 16, 2021 · Assist - A new student success hub, Assist, will be added to the main Blackboard navigation menu. It will allow students to quickly access DMACC resources, such as the Academic Achievement Center, Testing Center, and Advising.   1. If you did the training prior to 2016, you completed the Blended/Online Training. You are not required to go through the training again. Resources are available in the Online Instructional Resource...
  2. From 2016-April 2020, faculty had the choice of the Web Enhanced or Blended/Online training.

Blended/Online​ Training Sign-Up

  1. This course covers basic necessities, such as the DMACC Template, Announcements, Syllabus, Your Instructor contact information, and the Grade Center​ (i.e., setting up your gradebook).
  2. ​You are required to develop 3 weeks of​ a fully onli​ne course, which includes adding content and graded tools (e.g., Discussion Board, Journal, Assignment, Test).
