The Grade Center in Blackboard is a place for instructors to track student performance. The Grade Center can calculate grades, organize student-submitted assignment documents, record the last time each student accessed the course and include point-and-click rubrics that can be used to facilitate scoring of assignments.

In the gradebook list view, press the Move icon in the row of the item you want to move. Drag the item to the new location and release. The order you choose also appears in the grid view and on students' Grades pages.
In Full Grade Center, click Manage tab, and select Column Organization. Position the mouse pointer on the cross icon to left of the column you wish to move. Press and hold the left mouse button, drag the column up or down to change the order of the columns. Release the left mouse button.
Blackboard's Grade Center is compliant with FERPA: students can only see their own personal grades in the My Grades area in Blackboard.Jan 10, 2019
You can also apply an exemption before a grade is assigned. If you assigned a grade and then exempted it, the grade remains available on the Grade Details page. You can also exempt a grade on the Grade Details page. Access the cell's menu and select Exempt Grade.
