In the Grade Center, click the Manage button. 2. Select Smart View from the resulting menu. 3. Click Add Smart View. 4. Enter a name in the Name box. (You may also enter a description in the Description box.) 5. Make selections in the Selection Criteria to determine what will be displayed in this view. 6. Click Submit and then click OK.
Grade Center Manually Created Columns Manually created columns are used for graded items completed outside of Blackboard. To manually create a new column: 1. On the Full Grade Centerpage, enter a grade by clicking on the cell in which you would like to put a grade (you may need to scroll to the right to find the column) and type the grade directly into the cell. 2. Enter the new grade. 3. Press Enterto save the grade. The cursor will be now moved to one cell down by default.
Under the control panel click the Grade Center bar on the menu and then select Full Grade Center. Once inside the Grade Center, click Create Column on the Action Bar. On the Create Grade Column page, enter the Column Name and optional Description. [Enter a brief, descriptive name.
The Grade Center is accessed from the Control Panel in any Blackboard course. Click the arrow to the right of the Grade Center menu link to access the full Grade Center.

Click anywhere in a cell to access the management functions or assign a grade. Select the cell or grade value to edit an existing grade or add a new entry. After you assign a value, click anywhere outside the grade area to save. View submissions.
To view grades for all of your courses, select the arrow next to your name in the upper-right corner. In the menu, select My Grades. You can sort your grades by All Courses or Last Graded.

If you enter “0” as a value for points possible and enter the grade as the grade will display as entered, formatted as a number with two decimal places. If you enter a grade as a percentage it will display as entered without the % sign.
The name cannot be longer than 15 characters.

The first option, allows you to enter or change grades for the entire class and/or individual students in a spreadsheet-like way . The second option allows you to override a student's grade, to attach feedback or grading notes to the grade, and to view Grade History by viewing grade details.
To access the Grade Details page Click on the down arrows next to the desired cell and select View Grade Details.
