On the personal information page, click 'Personalize My Settings. ' Select the 'Use custom avatar image' on the 'Personalize My Settings' page, browse your computer for your picture, and click 'Submit' once uploaded. Your new avatar image should now appear next to your name in the Global Navigation menu.
If you're using the Facebook mobile app, make sure you're using the latest version. If you're using the Facebook mobile app, close out of the app and reopen. If you're on a mobile device, make sure you're connected to a reliable data or Wi-Fi network. If you're on a computer, refresh the page and try again.
You can change your profile picture by opening the Collaborate panel and selecting the settings tab which appears as a cog icon. Click on the picture to the left of your name at the top and you will be prompted to either upload a file or take a picture with your webcam.
Tap or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile. Tap Edit Profile. Tap Change Profile Photo, then select where you'd like to import your picture from. Tap Done (iPhone) or (Android) after making your changes.
The settings are not ticked by default and so that means that that people cannot change their photo even though they may see their photo changed on their Google profile. Click save and it will update the user and the user can then go back and change their picture on their Google profile page.
