Log into Blackboard Learn and enter the course. In the Course Management menu under Customization, click Properties. Under Set Availability, check the radio button next to "Yes" for Make Course Available. Click the Submit button.
Click on the drop-down menu (2) and choose "Show Link" or "Hide Link" (3) to Show or Hide that content link. If a link is hidden from students, you will still see it but it will be missing from your students' course menu.
With your keyboard, tab to the visibility list and press Enter to open the menu. Use Alt/Option + the up and down arrows to select an option. You can show, hide, or use rules to release content to students.
Unlike the content folder, a learning module will give you and your students a table of contents that automatically lists the content you put within the module. You can enforce sequential viewing of the items in the learning module, so students will need to access the items in the order than you determine.Jul 29, 2021
If you're not copying content from a previous Blackboard course you can start by creating a content area which is a new page in your course with a corresponding left menu link. The content area is where you can add new Items, Folders, Learning Modules, etc. You can create as many content areas as you need.
Click on the double-down arrow on the right side of the button. Click Hide Link. An icon will now show on the button. If you point to it, it will show "This link is hidden from students."Oct 25, 2013

If the link to your course name is not active and it says "unavailable" or "not currently available" next to the name, it means your instructor has not yet made the course available to students. Modules are used to organize course content by weeks, units, or a different organizational structure. Modules essentially create a one-directional linear flow of what students should do in a course. Each module can contain files, discussions, assignments, quizzes, and other learning materials.
Any informational material that is required for participation or understanding content such as assigned readings, video recordings, exams, and any other material needed for learning.
Let us go through some ways to improve training modules: Avoid using complicated words and jargons. As an existing employee, you would know what a particular jargon means but not someone who is new to the system. Do not use unfamiliar words and phrases which are difficult for others to understand.
