Statistics does tend to be harder than calculus, especially at the advanced levels. If you take a beginning statistics course, there will be very simple concepts that are rather easy to work out and solve.Aug 29, 2021
The Collatz Conjecture is the simplest math problem no one can solve — it is easy enough for almost anyone to understand but notoriously difficult to solve.Sep 13, 2021
The rigorous study of calculus can get pretty tough. If you are talking about the "computational" calculus then that is a lot easier though. On the other hand, computational trig as it's generally taught in high school is a lot easier than calculus.Jun 25, 2011

Clay “to increase and disseminate mathematical knowledge.” The seven problems, which were announced in 2000, are the Riemann hypothesis, P versus NP problem, Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture, Hodge conjecture, Navier-Stokes equation, Yang-Mills theory, and Poincaré conjecture.
So what's the most (but not needlessly) complicated equation in the universe? Arguably, it's the Standard Model Lagrangian, which covers the dynamics of every kind of particle and all of their interactions. Notably, it doesn't cover gravity, but be cool.May 2, 2018
Euler's identityEuler's identity is an equality found in mathematics that has been compared to a Shakespearean sonnet and described as "the most beautiful equation." It is a special case of a foundational equation in complex arithmetic called Euler's Formula, which the late great physicist Richard Feynman called in his lectures (opens ...Jul 1, 2015
