The RI Promise program allows Rhode Island residents who meet program eligibility criteria to attend CCRI for up to two years free of tuition and mandatory fees. These are costs that every CCRI student is required to pay to enroll in classes.
Open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android) and search for TouchNet OneCard. The app icon is purple with a photo of an ID card and the letters “VIP.” Once you find it, download the app. Please type in CCRI and the College's name will appear below.

What GPA do you need to get into University of Rhode Island? Applicants require above average high school grades to get into URI. The average high school GPA of the admitted freshman class at University of Rhode Island was 3.3 on the 4.0 scale indicating that primarily B+ students are accepted and ultimately attend.
It is a mid-size institution with an enrollment of 6,081 undergraduate students. The CCRI acceptance rate is 100%.
Community College A does not provide on-campus housing for their students.
Of the nearly 20,000 students enrolled at CCRI annually, over 95% are Rhode Island residents. With locations in Warwick, Providence, Lincoln, and Newport, and classes offered at the Westerly Education Center, you're never far from a CCRI campus.
Students must be enrolled for at least five credits at CCRI and the total number of credits taken at all institutions combined must be at least 12 credits but not to exceed 18 credits.
