Chromebooks don't use an operating system that is supported by Blackboard, but many features will work. Chromebooks use the Chrome operating system which is not a supported operating system for Blackboard. Some areas of Blackboard require Java on your computer, and Chromebooks do not support the use of Java.
Tested devices and operating systems ChromeOS is not supported on devices other than Chromebooks such as ChromeOS running on Windows. ChromiumOS and Chromebit are not supported. Blackboard strives to make all its products as accessible as possible.
Try clearing your browser cache, and reloading the session. Restart your computer. Try using Firefox instead of Chrome. Try dialling into the session using your phone.

You can launch Blackboard Collaborate Ultra sessions from the Blackboard app if a link is provided within a course. You're directed to a web browser to join the session. Collaborate is supported on these devices and browsers: Android: Chrome browser.
Ensure that you have the correct microphone selected and that it is working: Select My status and settings at the bottom left, select Settings (the gear icon), and select Set up your camera and microphone.
