To navigate through the content, the student needs to log in to blackboard either through the portal or by just typing it in on Google, “Chico State Blackboard”. This will require a duo authentication implemented by the school. Once logged in you'll be able to see the different classes you are enrolled in.
Early Start class assignments and materials will be available in Blackboard Learn. You will receive an email when it's time to access your online class. Go to the Blackboard Login web page, and enter your Chico State Username and Password. Look in the "My Bb Learn Courses" section for the link to your class.

Too many courses in your list? You can decide which courses are shown.
Use the Blackboard Learn Performance Dashboard to find out when your students last accessed your course.
You can log into Blackboard Learn by using your CSU, Chico Credentials or by logging into the Portal and clicking the link for "Blackboard." If you're still unable to access Blackboard learn, contact ITSS for help.
To change the courses you see listed in Blackboard, find the section titled My Bb Learn Courses, click the settings gear, and select the courses you wish to view from the list . Click Submit to save and your selected courses should now appear under My Bb Learn Courses. If you cannot see all your enrolled courses in Blackboard Learn, contact ITSS for help.
Messages are a course-specific communication tool. That means that they exists solely within the confines of the course you are creating the message in. Email uses WildcatMail (for students) and Exchange (for faculty). It will forward a copy of the email to your inbox and the recipient's inbox.
Blackboard Learn does not keep a copy of sent emails. When you send an email, you will receive a copy in your WildcatMail inbox. If you have set up mail forwarding with WildcatMail, then the message should be in the forwarded email inbox.
You can changes the settings used for these notifications by selecting Settings from the dropdown menu in the top right corner, and clicking Edit notification settings.
The course instructor has the ability to reopen or extend the due date for an assignment or quiz. If you need a submission reopened or extended, contact the professor of the course. Extending the due date or reopening the quiz or assignment will be up to the instructors discretion.
CSU Learn#N#(opens in new window)#N#is a learning management system (LMS) provided by Skillsoft/SumTotal. The LMS allows the CSU to assign, track, and leverage content ranging from mandatory professional development to compliance.
The CSU's current enterprise training contract was reaching the end of its term. As per CSU requirement, a new RFP was conducted and placed out to bid.
CSU Learn will be our new employee training system after February 4th, 2019. To prepare for the implementation, training in DTS was frozen on Dec 31 st ,2018. We are currently working on importing all content and training history into the new CSU Learn system.
