The BlueNet Account is a unique username assigned to each student, faculty and staff at CCSU. It is used to log in to campus computers, the campus wireless network and for a few other computing services. Both accounts use the same password.
Students can locate their eight-digit student ID number by looking at the red digits on their Blue Chip Card. If students do not have a Blue Chip Card, they should stop by the Card Office, located in the back of the bookstore in the Student Center.
Open the list of wireless networks and connect to ccsu-bluenet. When prompted, log in with your BlueNet username and password (not your full CCSU email address). Accept/trust the security certificate, if prompted. You have now completed the one-time configuration to connect to ccsu-bluenet.
The methods of depositing money on your Blue Chip Card are:Credit Card (2.85% convenience fee, or $3.00 which ever is larger) or eCheck (no charge) via Central Pipeline.Cash at the Card Value Centers found in the Student Center in Devils Den and in the lobby of Elihu Burritt Library.
24 hour service options for the Blue Chip Card are available by signing in at bluechip.ccsu.edu. From there you can check your transaction history, account balances for Blue Chip, Flex Dollars and Meal Plans, request vending refunds for any campus automated devices, and place a card on hold status or report it stolen.
