Instructors can submit papers to an Assignment from their Assignments page. To open the Assignments page, click Assignments in your course navigation menu. Your current list of course assignments will appear. Click the View/Complete link next to the assignment to which you would like to submit a paper.
On the class homepage, click on the More actions link next to the Paper assignment that you would like to submit to and select Submit paper. If needed, select Single File Upload from the Submit drop down menu. File upload is the default submission type for new users.
Instructors are able to submit on behalf of students at any time, even after the post-date of the assignment.
To add a Turnitin assignment, select the Assessments drop-down menu, then select Turnitin Assignment. On the assignment creation page, enter an assignment title and an optional point value for the assignment. Only alpha-numeric characters should be used when creating an assignment title.
Turnitin automatically evaluates and grades papers eliminating the need for instructors to grade them. Reality: Turnitin matches text similarity and does not grade papers for the instructors. Brightspace allows students to submit assignments to their instructor online. The assignment will then be graded by the instructor. The instructor may also provide feedback which you will be able to view.
