As an instructor, you can see when your students opened, started, and submitted tests and assignments with the Student Activity report. In general, this feature looks and functions the same whether you're working in an Original or Ultra course.
Blackboard Learn keeps no record of sent or received emails. Keep a copy of important messages in your inbox in case you need them later. You can send email to these users or groups in a course: All Users: Sends email to all users in the course.
But these features are limited: professors can only see the last time a student logs into Blackboard and which students download files from their Blackboard pages. Access your messages From the Blackboard Communications HQ interface menu, select Messages > Inbox. Select the Subject to open a specific message. You can view the detailed date, time, and address that sent the message if you select Show Delivery Details. You can also Remove the message when finished.
The colors map to these percentages: > 90% = green. 89–80% = yellow/green. 79–70% = yellow.

Can Blackboard see if you opened other tabs? Blackboard cannot see if you have opened other tabs on your computer if a secure proctoring or lockdown browser is not installed on your computer. New features allow for video in Blackboard to be analyzed and assessed. An instructor can get detailed information about which students have watched, how long they watched, and how many times.
