Moderators see hand raise notifications and can lower hands. They can remove attendees from a session, but they cannot remove other moderators. Moderators can set the session settings, including deciding what participants can and can't do. Moderators get email with links to their session recordings.
From the Collaborate Session open the Collaborate Panel by clicking on the purple icon in the bottom right corner. Only chat messages in the Everyone channel are recorded. Private messages and breakout group chat messages are not recorded.
Note: Moderators can prevent writing public and private messages. In this case, viewers are marked as locked in the people list and the text field for public chat is disabled.

The recording is only available to group members and instructors/TAs via the group's Collaborate page. Students cannot share a link or download the recording. Only the instructor/TA has the ability to get a link to the recording, edit the name, and delete the recording.
You can easily record a Session Blackboard Collaborate Ultra so that participants can review the Session at a later time or it can be viewed by someone who was unable to attend the Session. Note: Only the main room will be recorded.Sep 13, 2020

To sum up, private chats messages are only visible to the participants of the private chat. Teachers or instructors cannot view or access such conversations that do not involve them. This is a default privilege that Webex provides.Sep 22, 2020
