This is just the basic spreadsheet of students and grades across the whole course. To save the spreadsheet for a course: Open the course and go to Control Panel > Grade Center > Full Grade Center. Open the Work Offline menu on the upper right, above the grade table. Choose Download.

The system asks if you want to include student activity data in your export, which is an archive. Student activity data includes assignment submissions, grades, attendance data, and discussion posts.
Blackboard offers two ways to download the contents of a course for future use elsewhere—the Archive Tool and the Export Tool. Use the Export tool to create a package file containing all of the course content for the purpose reusing the course content at a later date or at another institution.

Exporting a course includes only the course content. The export does not include any user interactions such as blog posts or grades. Archiving a course creates ZIP file of the course content and user interactions called an archive package.
