Click on the content area in which you wish students to access Turnitin. From the Assessments menu, select Turnitin Assignment. This will open up a window to the Turnitin system within Blackboard Learn. Note the ? Help button in the upper right-hand corner of the Turnitin window. This will take you directly to additional Turnitin help.
Turnitin compares your work with existing online publications and allows you to confidentially check your written work for potential plagiarism. Blackboard has its own assignment tool, which allows you to set up and run an assignment in your course area. The University also uses software called Turnitin, which students also access via Blackboard.

Submissions for assignments are checked for originality using a website called TurnItIn. You can submit your own work to get a report on its originality before the actual submission. This is for your information only and will not affect the final submission through the assignment in the original Moodle module.
To conclude, the difference between Grammarly and Turnitin is that Grammarly is an all-around writing assistant tool while Turnitin mainly focuses on plagiarism detection. In order to submit a paper to Turnitin please do the following: Log in to your account and click on the appropriate class. Click on the "submit" icon to the right of your assignment title. Use the pull-down menu labeled "submit a paper by" to choose your submission method.
