Blackboard Collaborate is a real-time video conferencing tool that lets you add files, share applications, and use a virtual whiteboard to interact. Collaborate with the Ultra experience opens right in your browser, so you don't have to install any software to join a session.
Select a Camera If only one video camera is installed on your computer, Blackboard Collaborate automatically uses it when you preview and transmit video. However, if you have more than one video input device on your computer, you can choose which device to use.
Learn more tips in Session Best Practices. Use the microphone and camera icons along the bottom of the main stage or content presentation area. With your keyboard, press Alt + M to turn your microphone on and off. Press Alt + C to turn your camera on and off.
Go to Collaborate in your course. Select the session name and select the join option. If offered by your institution, you can use the phone number to join the session anonymously. To learn more, see Join sessions from your phone.

Join Collaborate from a phone Up to 25 attendees can call into a session from the phone. If the maximum number of dial-in attendees has been reached, nobody else can call in. There is more than one way to call into a Collaborate session with dial-in available.
