The Tabbed Widget Builder app turns any content region into a tabbed widget. All apps in the region are included in the widget unless its header is turned off. The app provides several color options including tab text color, active tab text color, tab background color and active tab background color.
To embed the content, select Insert/Edit Media from Web from the editor. Paste the link in Media URL. Select Insert. To edit the image's source or alternative text, select the image in the editor and then select Insert/Edit Image from Web.
In the Content Type drop-down, select Full LibGuide. In the Guide drop-down, select the guide you want to embed. (Leave Guide Page blank unless you want to choose a landing page other than the home page.) Click Embed Content.Jan 15, 2021
If they're too long, then accordions are a better choice rather than tabs! Accordions placed on a horizontal space have too much space to accommodate long options and plenty of data, while on tabs if you choose long names as labels, they will look more or less like accordions only!Mar 28, 2019

Within a Blackboard Content area, choose Build Content, Create Item. In the text area, switch to HTML view. This will bring up a small pop-up window. Paste the embed code from your external source in this window.
