The time zone is set automatically by data from your internet browser. In courses, the time zone for due dates and calendar items is responsive to the time zones of the users. Instructors can assign a due date of 11:00PM Eastern time, and a student in the Pacific time zone will see a due date of 8:00PM.

Can Blackboard see if you opened other tabs? Blackboard cannot see if you have opened other tabs on your computer if a secure proctoring or lockdown browser is not installed on your computer. 3 yearsPer the University's 1.07 Records Retention Policy, Blackboard Learn academic courses created from the Student Information System (SIS) will remain on the Blackboard Learn System for 3 years after the semester has ended.
If your instructor resets the exam for you to take again, Blackboard will clear all previous answers and you must start from the beginning of the test. Only your instructor can reset an exam.
You can use the 'Refresh' button within your Submissions Inbox area in Turnitin to refresh your submission to see if your Similarity Report comes through, although the system will do this periodically. Please see more on Similarity Reports.
