CAMPUS SAFETY TEAM

We have five full-time and five part-time campus safety personnel, including a former police officer who retired after more than 25 years of experience, three of those years as a dedicated School Resource Officer.

CLEANING PROTOCOLS & COVID PREVENTION PLAN

Orange Lutheran continues to closely monitor the evolving situation related to COVID-19 (coronavirus) and evaluate the outbreak’s impact on both the school and the community at large in accordance with recommendations from local, state, and national government organizations and health agencies.

CRISIS COMMUNICATIONS

Text and email blasts will be sent to all Orange Lutheran families according to the information on file; as a result, it is essential that contact information is current.

DAILY PROCEDURES

All students must remain on campus throughout their school day unless they are signed out at the Success Center and sign back in when they return to campus.

FACULTY AND STAFF TRAINING

All faculty and staff have been trained in emergency preparedness procedures.

RELATIONSHIPS WITH LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT

Our emergency disaster plans have been coordinated with the Orange Police and Fire Departments. In addition, a blueprint of our school is on file with both agencies should it be necessary.

STUDENT WELLNESS

Our commitment does not stop at the physical safety of your child. Five years ago we began the process of redefining the high school experience with the focus on the overall health and well being of our students. So many things have been done and are being done to help students become healthy, strong, caring people.

OLu Athletics App

The official app for Orange Lutheran High School athletics brings fans closer to the team than ever before. Search for OLu Athletics in your phone’s app store or click below to get game coverage, player interviews, recaps, and much more!

Game Day

Montell Field and the two gyms that comprise the Ellwein Center host multiple teams on campus for practice, conditioning, and games. Orange Lutheran also utilizes local facilities for hockey, tennis, baseball, aquatics, and golf.

Athletic Training

Recognized as a Safe Sports School by the National Athletic Trainers Association, Lancer Athletes receive the highest level of care by Orange Lutheran’s full-time Athletic Trainers.

Strength & Conditioning

Designed to ensure the health and safety of our athletes, the Performance Training Center offers an unparalleled athletic experience. State-of-the-art training equipment, individualized lifting stations, and a fully-stocked nutrition center help student-athletes achieve peak performance.

Teams & Programs

Orange Lutheran athletes are guided by a highly qualified team of head and assistant coaches, Sports Performance coaches, and certified Athletic Trainers. Many of our current head coaches have been named CIF Coach of the Year, and some have worked with USA national teams and have coached at elite camps both in the United States and abroad.

HEALTH REGISTRATION

Health is a required semester course and is best taken before sophomore year. It is also a prerequisite for taking OLO courses. Registration for Health Online will open in late March.

IMPORTANT DATES

At the Course Registration Seminar & Information Night, you’ll meet your 2026 classmates and their families at dinner in the Student Union, spend time with Academic Departments to discover the classes offered and determine the best fit for you, and visit with faculty and staff who represent elective courses and leadership opportunities for your freshman year.
