View student activity for an assessment Access Student Activity data from the Course Content page. Access an assessment's menu and select Student Activity. A panel with student activity information opens. You can't access Student Activity in an anonymously graded assessment's menu.
It is possible to track the access of an individual item such as a document in Course Documents or Course Information. To do this it is necessary to select, Track Number of Views when you originally added the item. Tracking information is only collected from the time you answered Yes to this question.

This happens when the 'Lock Tracking' feature is enabled on the document. With 'Lock Tracking' enabled, you cannot turn off 'Track Changes' unless you enter the password, which was set initially. Simple Markup points out where changes are made with a red line in the margin. All Markup shows all edits with different colors of text and lines. No Markup hides markup to show what the incorporated changes will look like.
By default, Edit Mode is turned On for instructors. When edit mode is turned on, an instructor can see all course content whether it is set to be visible or not. Instructors can also modify their course in this view. When edit mode is turned off, an instructor will see the course as a student would see it.Oct 22, 2018
When Edit Mode is ON, you see all the course content and the editing controls for each item. Edit Mode OFF hides the editing controls but still displays any content that would normally be hidden from a student. Also, it doesn't enable you to see student-only content, such as My Grades.
