Add a Table (Blackboard Help) Click the insert/edit table function to begin adding a table in the text area. Alternatively, you can use the insert/edit table command from the right-click contextual menu.
In the editor's text box, place your mouse pointer where you want to add a table and select the Insert/edit table icon. You can also use the right-click menu. Most of the table options are grayed out and unavailable unless you access an existing table in the text area.
Highlight the text you just pasted. Click the Clear Formatting icon at the top of Blackboard's text editor to remove formatting (note: this will remove bold, italics, indents and other formatting applied in Word or from whichever program you have copied the text).Jun 15, 2016
Paste into Blackboard Use keyboard command CTRL + V to paste. The pasted table in the Blackboard Text Editor/ Content area. The table will copy into the box in the same format as in word. Always click Save to make sure you don't loose your work.Oct 8, 2019
