Blackboard courses will be retained on the server following the end of the semester. Forty-five days after each course’s end date, the courses will become unavailable to the students, by default (the instructor can choose to modify this availability date). Instructors will still have access to previous semesters’ courses.
Delete a course On the Administrator Panel in the Courses section, select Courses. Search for a course. Select the check box for each course to delete. Select Delete.
Blackboard course sites will be retained six full semesters (two years) past the current term. If you are leaving the University, your IT and Blackboard accounts will be shut down a few weeks after you complete your course. You will receive a warning email 30 days before your account is due to close.Apr 16, 2019
After you complete a course, your student-generated content, including submissions and blogs, will be periodically removed from Blackboard after 12 months. Tip: always keep a copy of all work submitted for assessment.
Per the University's 1.07 Records Retention Policy, Blackboard Learn academic courses created from the Student Information System (SIS) will remain on the Blackboard Learn System for 3 years after the semester has ended.
You can manually trigger ETL_REFRESHDATA within Blackboard Learn. Go to System Admin > System Reporting > Refresh Report Data. Select Refresh Activity Report Data to run the ETL_AA process, or Refresh Non Activity Report Data to run the ETL_NON_AA process.
When you are finished with a course and no longer wish to view it in your course list, you can remove it from the Courses section on the Institution page in Blackboard.
On your Courses page in Blackboard, click the three dots next to a course and choose Hide Course. If you would like to unhide your course, click the Filter menu and choose "Hidden from me." Click the three dots next to a course and choose "Show Course."Jan 20, 2021
