Default maximum upload limit The default size limit for content uploaded through the user interface is 2500 MB. When attempting to upload files larger than 2500 MB using the interface, users will receive an error. This limit does not apply to Web Folder or Blackboard Drive uploads.
You can upload individual files as large as 100 megabytes to Blackboard and there is no limit to the number of individual files that you can upload. For files larger than 100 megabytes — particularly if those files are large videos — contact your school's local IT support staff.

Turnitin has a file upload limit of 20mb, if you try to submit a file over this limit, Turnitin will not accept the file. If your file size is bigger than 20mb you will need to save it as a PDF (if it is not one already) and then compress it.

If your student is using Pages on a Macintosh computer, the document will not render in the inline grading system (Bb Annotate). You will not be able to open this document in Word. You will need to ask your student to save the file as a Word document format and re-submit it.
You want to download or update Blackboard and it takes forever for the download to start or for the app to be completely downloaded because it just won’t load. Many then desperately try to restart the download of Blackboard, but this does not lead to any useful result either.
If Blackboard is downloading very slowly, it could also be due to the size of the app itself. The progress bar gives you a slow download, but this may only appear because of the size of the app.
