If you're accessing your course from a mobile device or tablet or from within a small browser window, Blackboard will collapse the sidebar by default. Once you have logged in to Blackboard, the Global Navigation Menu is always located in the upper right-hand corner of the display.
The course menu is the panel on the left side of the interface that contains links to all top-level course areas. Instructors can also provide links to the tools page, individual tools, websites, course items, and module pages. Instructors control the content and tools available on the course menu.
Edit the default layout On the Administrator Panel in the Communities section, select Tabs and Module. Select Tabs. In the tab's menu, select Default Layout.

The Global Navigation menu allows you to access your Blackboard courses and 'My Blackboard' for quick access to timely information in your courses. The Global Navigation menu can be accessed from the top right corner in Blackboard where your name is displayed by selecting the drop down arrow.
Another way to view your courses is through the Global Navigation Menu. To view, on the top-right of a Blackboard page, click the triangle next to your name to open the Global Navigation Menu. You will see the course right away under Courses.

To change the course view: Change the image in the Grid View for your course by selecting the menu option. Note: When using the Ultra Base Navigation it is recommended that you use the Chrome or Firefox Browser for optimal views. Click on the pencil icon to edit your image. Add the image and save.
