Is the Shuffle Hands card in UNO optional? If you find that you and the other players aren't getting along with the Shuffle Hands card, then there's nothing in the rules that state you have to play with them. Simply remove all of the cards from the game and play as you normally would.May 14, 2021
When the 'Shuffle Hands' card is played, the player who played the card must take everyone's hand and shuffle them together. Then they distribute them evenly among all players.
So, if you are playing by the proper rules, you can't win if you use the Shuffle Hands card as your final card.Nov 10, 2021

Points are tallied (see Scoring section) and you start over again. If you forget to say, “UNO” before your card touches the DISCARD pile, but you “catch” yourself before any other player catches you, you are safe and not subject to the 4- card penalty.
It can be played on any color. The Wild card is worth 50 points. You are allowed to end Uno on the Wild card!

People do that just to look cool. Some people think it actually psyches your opponent out when you do that. For some people it's a nervous twitch, like bouncing your knees. If someone is shuffling a deck in a way you don't like, a judge is supposed to shuffle it for him.Jun 1, 2012
The player with the lower card deals the first hand. Thereafter, the turn to deal alternates between the two players, except that the loser of the game deals first if another game is played. The dealer has the right to shuffle last, and presents the cards to the non-dealer for the cut prior to the deal.
The cards in each players hand remain separate at all times so the hand may be scored at the end. The cards are shuffled with every deal.Jan 28, 2012
