Rush University will be transitioning its Blackboard system into SaaS (Software-as-a-Service), from Sunday, February 28 at 10 p.m. until Thursday, March 4 at 8 a.m. This change is required in order for Blackboard to continue to function properly because our current service is expiring.
As of 2019, Canvas does not support the use of Internet Explorer. Mac users: Safari web browser is not recommended for use with Canvas.
If you were given Blackboard log in information via email and at orientation, then you will only be using Blackboard for your courses and will soon be trasitioning to Canvas.
Rush University is currently at the beginning stages of transitioning to the Canvas learning management system (LMS) from Blackboard Learn. Canvas is a learning environment for face to face, online and hybrid courses. Some features your instructor may provide in your Canvas course are access to course materials, communication tools, online assessments and grades, as well as the ability to submit assignments electronically
